How your bespoke furniture fitting works
From your first enquiry, KB Kitchens & Interiors supports you through every stage, ensuring a smooth and organised experience. Alongside bespoke furniture fitting, the service covers design, manufacturing, and installation, as well as electrical work, plastering, decorating, and flooring. Every detail is managed under one roof, giving you a single point of contact and clear communication. You can visit the showroom to explore options and begin planning with confidence, knowing your project is handled in-house from start to finish.
1. Initial Inquiry
This is a great opportunity for you to come and explore the quality and choice that we offer, we will walk you through our showroom explaining and demonstrating various products and options. At this stage we like to get an idea of your preferred colours, styles and any 'must haves'.
2. Measure & Design
We offer a free measure and design service, if your kitchen is part of a larger project then we would be happy to work from architect drawings. For existing spaces we prefer to measure and see the area for ourselves, here we can get a feel for how you use the space, what you like and dislike about current layouts, along with capturing the all important detailed measurements. Using all of the information we have gathered so far we will start to design your new bespoke kitchen, creating detailed plans for all involved and beautiful full colour 3d renders so you can get a feel for how your new space will look.
3. Consultation & Pricing
Once we have completed your designs we will invite you back into our showroom to review the detailed plans and images, making any amendments to ensure it is perfect for you. At this stage we will also capture some firm choices, from door style and colour to internal finishes and handles, enabling us to provide you with an accurate quotation.
4. Crafting Your Cabinetry
Now all of the details are confirmed and your project is booked in for installation we will start crafting your cabinetry. This starts with the programming of the cabinets, making sure all of the bespoke elements are executed perfectly. This software produces detailed cutting patterns and the material quantities required. Your cabinetry can now go into production, manufactured in house using modern machinery and construction methods to ensure accuracy and longevity!
5. Installation
The best part*, we will deliver your new kitchen ready for our team of highly skilled installers to do their part. Prior to this we may have already removed the old, altered plumbing and electrics, made good where required and given the area a fresh lick of paint. Worktop template usually takes place at the end of the first week, around a week later when your kitchen is nearing completion your worktops will be installed. Now for second fix, connecting water to your new Quooker tap, powering up your new Neff Slide & Hide oven. *The even better part - Enjoying your new KB Kitchen!!!
